Quit Smoking 30 (“the App”) helps users gradually reduce smoking using a break-based motivational plan. The App does not provide medical advice. For help with nicotine addiction, please consult a healthcare professional.

Data We Collect

The App uses Firebase Anonymous Authentication to create a unique anonymous identifier (UID). No personal data such as name, email, phone number, or address is collected.

Location (Temptation Zones)

We may request access to your device location to detect when you are near a user-saved “Temptation Zone” and show a warning/distraction experience.

Location is processed on-device for this feature and is not stored by us. We do not share your precise location with third parties.

We store the following non-personal usage data:

• Number of cigarettes smoked and allowed per day
• App settings and notification preferences
• Progress tracking and plan structure

This data is stored securely in Firebase and used only to provide the App’s features.

How We Use the Data

• To create and update the personalized smoking-reduction plan
• To display progress and statistics inside the app
• To send optional reminders
• To display and measure advertisements

We do not:

• Sell personal data
• Collect personally identifiable information
• Track users across other apps or websites
• Collect sensitive health or medical data

Advertising

The App displays advertisements using Google AdMob.

Google AdMob may use device identifiers such as the Advertising ID, cookies, or similar technologies to display and measure ads.

These identifiers may be used to provide non-personalized or personalized ads, depending on the user’s device and Google account settings.

Users can manage or opt out of ad personalization through their Google account or Android device settings.

Third-Party Services

The App uses the following third-party services:

We do not receive your YouTube account details, viewing history, or private information from YouTube.

Children
